But travelling with Buck proves a dangerous business. Two brutes on motorbikes invade their campsite, out to warn him off, none too gently.  Bringing her self-defense skills into play Meg decides to pitch in and together they demolish the pair.

In the bargain, Meg is hurt and in Buck’s gentle care, she begins to sense the throb of desire running through him, well aware of the answering cry within herself.  Dark secrets and stormy passions surrender to love.

 The quirk of fate that has brought them together now threatens to tear them apart. Buck’s wife is avenged and Meg, armed with her photographs, is ready to leave for her new job. They now, face the fight of their lives – the fight within themselves to acknowledge their love for each other. 

But will Buck’s past forever, haunt him? Or will the love he sees in Meg’s eyes prove the more powerful…

Romona Hilliger has done a wonderful job creating a well-written story with two characters readers will instantly fall in love with and cheer until the very last page for them to find happiness in each other’s arms. 4 Angels!

Will settling the score with Larkin be enough for Buck to let go of the guilt he feels over Mary’s death and help him move on?

Ms Hilliger writes a poignant love story showing that sometimes second chances are best. The relationship between Meg and Buck builds from attraction to sweet romance. Because the country is described so perfectly, you will feel like you are on vacation in the Australian Outback.
