The Waterfront is located directly on the Inglis river and yet is only a few minutes drive from the Burnie /Wynyard airport.  The airport has several direct flights to and from Melbourne on both QANTAS and Rex airlines.  

The Waterfront, Wynyard has a fully licensed cafe and restaurant, The Riverview Cafe & Restaurant, which is open 7 days a week for breakfast and dinner; lunches from Wednesday to Sunday.
